2024年1月22日，山东省政府工作报告明确点出，济南都市圈发展规划获得批复，这
是在省级层级首次官宣。由此，济南都市圈成为北方第五个、黄河流域第三个获批的
国家级都市圈。

济南都市圈范围包括济南、淄博、泰安、聊城、德州、滨州6市25县区，面积超过2.2
万平方公里，略大于已获批的青岛都市圈。

On January 22, 2024, the Shandong Provincial Government Work Report officially announced that the
development plan for the Jinan Urban Metropolis Circle had been approved. This marked the first provincial-
level approval of its kind. As a result, the Jinan Urban Metropolis Circle became the fifth national-level urban
metropolis circle in northern China and the third in the Yellow River Basin to receive approval.
The Jinan Urban Metropolis Circle encompasses 25 counties and districts across six cities, including Jinan,
Zibo, Tai'an, Liaocheng, Dezhou, and Binzhou. It covers an area of over 22,000 square kilometers, making it
slightly larger than the approved Qingdao Urban Metropolis Circle.
